What Does it Mean to be Car Care Aware?

You might already be aware that April is National Car Care Month in the US. While just about every cause has a week, month or day to call it's own, we at Fleetio are passionate about what it means to be Car Care Aware. This is why we have our Forever Free Plan, which allows you to manage 5 vehicles or less for free with our online software.

Our ultimate goal is to provide a platform that makes it easy to get the most out of your fleet - whether you have one car or thousands, because more efficient and longer lasting vehicles can have a big impact. If everyone focuses on curbing fuel usage, reducing unnecessary wear and tear and making the roads safer, then we can all benefit.

Being car care aware is simply adopting a proactive mindset about servicing and maintaining your vehicles year round (not just during the month of April). Staying constantly in tune with the condition of your fleet can save your company money, prevent unexpected downtime as well as keeping the whole operation running smoothly.

If you don't already have a preventative maintenance program in place, then it is time to adopt one. Find the necessary services for your vehicles and set up easy-to-track reminders that ensure you will have work done at the recommended mileages. A little effort can go a long way in protecting you against potential issues down the road.
