Don't skimp on vehicle maintenance to save cash

It’s important for a business to hold on to cash during tough economic times. Consequently many companies don’t replace their vehicles as often and need to keep an aging fleet running in order to conserve financial resources.

You must resist the urge to cut maintenance spending as well. It rarely saves much money, even in the short term, but the long effects can be detrimental to your cash down the road. When you keep fleet equipment longer with less maintenance, both reliability and safety will suffer.

And remember, you might be married to your vehicles for quite a bit longer than expected.
