How to Protect the Interior of Your Fleet Vehicles

Every vehicle fleet owner knows how hard and costly it can be to maintain the interiors of all their vehicles. With numerous workers smudging, scratching and spilling inside a car, not to mention certain weather conditions slowly eating away at carpets, it is important to play some defense when concerning your fleet vehicles.

Fleet owners would be wise equipping each vehicle with a rag and some sort of cleaning solution. It could also be a good idea to get workers in the habit of wiping down the dashboard, steering wheel and windows at the end of each days work, even if they are not dirty. This small change could not only get the vehicle looking clean, but it will preserve the interior for a longer time.

It would also be a good business practice to clean the vehicle upholstery once a month and finish the job with scotch guard to keep it safe until the next cleaning.

Other products, like Husky Liners® vehicle floor mats, provide even better protection than scotch guard. These mats are particularly helpful in the winter months when moisture gets dragged into a car. The liner will ensure none of the moisture touches the interior of the vehicle, keeping it clean for jobs to come.
