When we added regional support for Fuel Entries in Fleetio, we ended up cutting scope and temporarily removing support for logging fuel for hours-based vehicles.
We’re happy to announce that we’ve re-added the ability to enter fuel for hours-based vehicles and equipment. Now you can now log fuel and measure fuel utilization for your tractors, generators or other hours-based equipment you’re tracking in Fleetio.
Simply enter the hour meter value when fueling up the equipment. This will also update the current hour meter value for the equipment in Fleetio.
The gallons (US or imperial gallons) or liters consumed per hour will automatically be calculated, as well as the fuel cost per hour. This is great way to understand the true cost of running a piece of equipment or machine.
