Another quarter, another round of updates designed to simplify your daily fleet operations and help you stay ahead. From early access to upcoming features to improvements across mobile and integrations, Fleetio keeps evolving — and you’re at the center of it all.

See it in action

Each of these features were built to help you improve productivity throughout your entire fleet operation. Schedule a demo with one of our product experts to get a personal walkthrough of these new features.

1. Get a first look with the Early Access Program

For fleets that are always looking ahead, Fleetio’s new Early Access Program gives you a front-row seat to our newest features. You’ll be able to test beta functionality directly in the platform and share your feedback with our product team, helping build the future of Fleetio.

  • Explore beta features before they’re generally available
  • Provide direct feedback to our team to influence development
  • Leverage the latest tools to improve efficiency and decision-making

This is more than a sneak peek. It’s your chance to help shape the tools you’ll use tomorrow.

2. Make service profitable with Markups, Quoting & Invoicing

Managing internal or customer-facing work orders just got more flexible. You can now apply markups and turn any work order into a quote or invoice, all from within Fleetio.

  • Apply markups as a percentage or fixed amount and set account-wide defaults
  • Convert work orders into professional PDFs and share them easily
  • Customize and email invoices directly from Fleetio

3. Manage the job site effectively with Caterpillar & John Deere integrations

Our new OEM telematics integrations with John Deere Operations Center and Caterpillar VisionLink bring heavy equipment into your Fleetio workflow – no spreadsheets needed.

  • Sync engine hours, fault codes, and sensor data automatically
  • Track location and status across every site in real time
  • Create mobile work orders or escalate issues to your dealer

These integrations help you keep your heavy equipment ready to roll — and working hard.

4. Get more out of your Fleetio Go notification inbox

We’ve redesigned the notification inbox in Fleetio Go with your techs and drivers in mind. It’s now easier to navigate and shows users exactly what to do next.

  • Each notification guides users to the right next step
  • Reduce back-and-forth and keep daily tasks moving
  • A cleaner design means less clutter, more clarity

This is part of a broader initiative to make Fleetio Go even more intuitive for your team.

5. Equipment is Now 'Tools'

Say hello to Tools, the new name for what was previously called Equipment. This update aligns better with how you use the feature: tracking tools and small equipment that keep your fleet moving.

  • Track inventory and keep tabs on critical tools
  • Assign tools to team members or assets to reduce loss
  • Ensure the right gear is where it needs to be

The new name reflects what this feature is really about: keeping your tools job-ready.

6. Meet the 'Maintenance Shop Network'

Speaking of new names, our Maintenance Shop Integration is now the Fleetio Maintenance Shop Network. The new name better reflects the nationwide network of trusted repair shops you have access to, and the peace of mind that comes with it.

  • Access verified repair providers wherever your fleet operates
  • Manage service requests and approvals in one place
  • Track status, cost and history for every repair

7. Do more with your data by exporting to XLSX

You now have more control over how you export data from Fleetio. In addition to CSV, you can export vehicle index data to XLSX format, making it even easier to share and work with your data.

  • Choose between CSV and XLSX for your exports
  • Use your data in whatever tool you’re most comfortable with, including Excel
  • Find it under “Export Vehicles” in the vehicle list view

8. Attach Custom Fields to more record types

Custom fields just got more powerful. Now, you can attach Vehicle Custom Fields to related record types, so you can filter and sort with even more precision.

  • Use custom fields across vehicles, issues and more
  • Filter by specific vehicle attributes across your indexes
  • Reflect what matters most to your fleet, your way

Custom fields are now more than custom. They’re flexible, functional and fully connected.
