Fleetio is proud to support and celebrate the automotive community by awarding six scholarships to deserving service technicians and students pursuing National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certifications. These scholarships aim to create opportunities for professional growth and to empower the next generation of technicians — moving fleets forward.

Nomination details

Who Can Nominate?

Any current Fleetio customer can nominate a deserving automobile or truck technician or a student currently enrolled in a college-level automobile or medium/heavy-duty truck training program.

Who Can Be Nominated?

A nominee must be an automotive technician, truck technician, or student who: 1.) Is a legal resident of the United States or Canada and is at least eighteen (18) years of age or the age of majority, whichever is older, in their respective states or provinces of permanent residence at time of nomination. 2.) Is currently working as an automotive or truck technician and would like to become ASE certified. 3.) AND/OR is currently enrolled in an ASE Accredited Auto or Truck Training Program

How to Nominate

Grand Prize: (1) $3,000 scholarship covering registration and testing fees for three ASE professional-level Certification tests, plus funds for tool upgrades.

Runner-ups: (5) $1,000 scholarships covering registration and testing fees for three ASE professional-level Certification tests, tools, or other supplies.

Fleetio ASE Scholarship Timeline

Submissions Open: March 31, 2025

Submissions Close: May 1, 2025

Winners Notified: May 15, 2025

Public Announcement: June 12, 2025
(National Automotive Service Professionals Day)

Scholarship Usage Deadline: December 31, 2026

Winners must provide proof from ASE of registration in three ASE Professional-level Certification tests by December 31, 2026.
