Rachael Plant is a Fleet Content Specialist at Fleetio with nearly a decade of experience supporting and writing for the fleet industry. Before joining Fleetio in 2021, she worked hands-on with local fleets and auto shops — sourcing, delivering and helping manage parts inventory — giving her a grounded understanding of the day-to-day challenges fleet teams face.

At Fleetio, Rachael leads content strategy for external publications and long-form resources like The Fleet Manager’s Manual and The Guide for Managing Maintenance, translating complex operational insights into practical, approachable content. Her writing is featured in outlets such as FleetOwner, Fleet Maintenance, Fleet Equipment, CCJ Digital, Government Fleet, Work Truck, NAFA and more — collaborations that demonstrate her trusted voice across the fleet space.

Rachael holds a B.A. in Professional, Technical, Business, and Scientific Writing and is the former editor of Modern WorkTruck Solutions magazine. She’s also shared her career path and editorial insights with students at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. For her, writing about fleet is like solving a living puzzle — each piece shaped by real-world operational needs, technology adoption, and the people behind the assets.
